Often table tops become stained through years of use, it then becomes necessary to use bleach to remove them.
Hydrogen peroxide, ammonia and nitric acid are used to bleach any wood following the stripping off the polish. Some stains can be difficult to work on - burns and old ink stains in particular. Metal stains ie. where a metal item is wet and remains on a top for some time, can be difficult to as the metal reacts with the chemicals used.
